Financial Review

This financial review project was for a mid-sized U.S. ecommerce brand preparing for investor reporting and internal strategy realignment. The business required a comprehensive audit-style evaluation of its books, cash position, and financial trends over the past fiscal year.

I conducted a detailed financial analysis using their existing QuickBooks Online records—verifying income streams, categorizing expenses, and identifying inconsistencies in past reconciliations. I reviewed profit margins, net cash flow, and vendor liabilities while correcting ledger discrepancies and duplicate entries. The final reports included balance sheet integrity checks and period-over-period insights.

Based on my findings, I delivered a summary review with visual reports, highlighting areas for cost savings, margin improvements, and risk reduction. The client used this data to strengthen decision-making, enhance budgeting, and present clean records to stakeholders during their funding discussions.
